Hotmail & Live Users - Troubleshooting Registration:

If you are using Hotmail or Live and have not received your registration or other emails from Harmony Online Dating, the email may be appearing in your Junk E-mail box. To ensure you receive all your emails and messages from other members, please add our domain to your safe senders list by doing the following:

1. Log into your Hotmail or Live account
2. Click on 'Options'
3. Click on 'Junk E-mail Protection'
4. Click on 'Safe List'
5. Under 'Type an address or domain' type @harmonyonline.com.au and then click on 'Add'

Does it Cost to Use Harmony Online Dating?

It doesn't cost anything to join Harmony Online Dating however non-paying members have only limited use of the site's functions. To use all features of the site including the chat and email function, a VIP membership is required which costs as little as 27 cents per day.

Why Do We Charge?

Other sites ask for donations from their members, however Harmony Online Dating prefers a user pays system whereby users pay for the services they wish to use. Membership fees allow us to reinvest in advertising to keep bringing new and fresh people to the site.

Membership Levels:

There are currently 3 membership levels:

• Standard - This is the membership level you are assigned when you register with Harmony Online Dating. Functions available to Standard members are limited to: searching and viewing profiles, sending kisses to other members; and receiving email messages from other members.

• Gold - A gold membership is a promotional membership valid for a fix period of time. Gold membership privileges vary depending on the promotion we are running at the time. When a gold membership expires, the membership reverts to a 'Standard' membership.

• VIP - VIP membership is currently the highest membership available. VIP members enjoy all the privileges of a standard membership and also afford use of the following functionality: sending of email messages to members; viewing of other members' galleries; and viewing of other members' guestbooks; rating of photos; chat function; gallery; guestbook; and private message. VIP memberships may be purchased on the website for a set period of time. When a VIP membership expires, the membership then reverts to a 'Standard' membership.

Photos:

Adding Photos to Your Profile: You can add a maximum of 5 photos (including the thumbnail photo) to your profile. To add a photo, make sure you are logged into the website and:

1. Click on the ‘Upload Photos’ link on the left hand column of your screen under Member Menu.
2. Click on the ‘browse’ button, find the photo you wish to add and then click on ‘Open’
3. Click on the ‘upload’ button and wait for the photo to load. Please be patient as this step may take several minutes.

Private Photo: You can make your photos private such that they are only visible by members to whom you have granted access to a photo password. To make your photos private:

1. Go into the ‘Upload Photos’ link on the left hand column of your screen under Member Menu.
2. Upload your photo.
3. Once you have uploaded your photo, a 'private photo' box will appear to the left of the photo. Ensure that the ‘private photo’ box is ticked for any photo that you wish to remain private.
4. Click on the ‘My Profile’ link on the left hand column of your screen under Member Menu.
5. Scroll down the page until you see the ‘Private Password’ section about ¾ of the way down the page. Add a private photo password.
6. Click on ‘save changes’ button at the bottom of the page.

Thumbnail photo: the thumbnail photo is the photo that appears in search results and may appear on the front page of the Harmony Online Dating website. Profiles with thumbnail photos typically attract a higher number of hits or views by other members. Thumbnail photos cannot be made private so if you do not wish for anyone to see your photo, please leave this thumbnail photo blank.

Troubleshooting photos: If you are having trouble uploading photos, it is more than likely because the photo file size is too large. Try reducing the file size of the photo before you attempt to upload it.

Sending Messages:

Please note that only gold and VIP members can send messages to other members on the site. To send a message to another member:

1. Make sure you are in the member’s profile.
2. Click on the “Send Message” link found on the left hand column of your screen under Custom Menu (approximately half way down the page).
3. Type in a subject and message
4. Specify whether you want to the message to go to the member’s email, to their Harmony Online Dating Communicator inbox or both.
5. Click on the “Send” button.

Private Messages:

Please note that only gold level memberships can use the private message function.

To send a member a private message:

1. Click on the Private message button once in their profile. The member will then be added to your private message list.
2. Go down to the private message section of your screen (at the bottom left). If the private message box is not currently showing, click on ‘Show’ or ‘Open in New Window'.
3. Select the member’s name in the yellow tab at the top (the tab will turn from yellow to white), type a message and then click on the ‘send’ button.

To view private messages received:

1. Go down to the private message section of your screen (at the bottom left). If the private message box is not currently showing, click on ‘Show’ or ‘Open in New Window’.
2. If a member has sent you a private message, their name will appear in a yellow tab at the top. Click on the tab and you will see the message they have sent you.

How to Unregister from Harmony Online Dating:

If you wish for your profile to be permanently removed from Harmony Online Dating, please send an email to enquiries@harmonyonline.com.au. For security reasons, the email should be sent from the email address that you registered with Harmony Online Dating.
